Safety shoes

A pair of safety shoes (also known as safety boots) is personal protective equipment (PPE) for foot protection at workplaces. It prevents from getting foot injuries due to slippery surface, heavy falling or rolling objects, sharp piercing edges, pinch points, rotary machinery, hot objects, loops of ropes under tension, splinters, electricity, chemicals or even bad weather etc.

Rain boots are designed to prevent feet from getting wet. Rain boots are useful for more than a rainy day. Snow, mud, and chemical waste all require waterproof boots for protection, dryness, and warmth. Many boots are made with inner liners of flannel or other warm materials for use in cold weather. The rain boots always combine fashion variety with the traditional style.

A safety glove is a piece of personal protection equipment, or PPE, worn by workers to protect their hands from injuries at the workplace. Some of these gloves provide protection from amputations, abrasions, cuts, bruises, friction blisters, splinters, burns, chemicals, and disease. There are many types of safety gloves, including durable work gloves, fabric and coated fabric gloves, liquid and chemical resistant gloves and insulated rubber gloves.

Riding gloves are an essential piece of your riding outfit. They protect your hands from friction against the reins or lunge line and from the elements. Riding gloves are designed specifically to aid riders and often have reinforced areas for durability where reins come in contact with the gloves.

Safety glasses are a part of Personal Protective Equipment that are worn by the workers around their eyes for protection. Safety glasses act as a shield to protect the eyes from any type of foreign debris that may cause irritation or injury. Safety glasses can be used by anyone. Depending on the requirement of the user, safety glasses can have varied lenses such as clear, bifocal, anti-fog, tinted, indoor/outdoor lens, polarized, shooting, men’s or women's, low light eyewear, filtered and changeable. All safety glasses shield the eyes from hazards. Such hazards may arise from flying solid debris, liquid chemical splashes, impact from moving machinery, heat, sparks and intense lights during welding and metal cutting, etc.

Work and welding goggles provide a degree of eye protection while some forms of welding and cutting are being done. They are intended to protect the eyes not only from the heat and optical radiation produced by the welding, such as the intense ultraviolet light produced by an electric arc, but also from sparks or debris.
